Former Wonder Girls member Sunmi will be returning to performing, this time as a soloist

Sunmi, formerly of the Wonder Girls, will be returning to performing after three years and seven months away from the scene, but this time, she’ll sing solo

 

Sunmi, formerly of the Wonder Girls, will be returning to performing after three years and seven months away from the scene, but this time, she’ll sing solo. Her agency, JYP, says, “Sunmi will be making a comeback as a soloist, and JYP is doing everything necessary to help her prepare for this new phase of her career. M-net Countdown is currently working on arranging a dade for her first TV appearance as a solo act.” Sunmi plans to release her debut solo album and hold a showcase before the stage performance.

Sunmi withdrew from the Wonder Girls in 2010 in order to continue studying. She matriculated at Donguk University’z College of Arts, Division of Theatre, in 2011.
